Worldpay authentication error

Between 11:40am and 11:50am there was a spike in Worldpay authentication errors. Approximately 250 paying users experienced an error after entering their card details and would not have been able to complete their payment. The issue has now been resolved. We are in contact with Worldpay to gain more information about the underlying cause and we will continue to monitor performance. We recommend that affected paying users are advised to pay again.

Services using GOV.UK Pay’s Stripe contract were not affected.
